Seniors Program

The Seniors Program at the Canadian Multiple Service Centre (CMSC) is designed to offer personalized, compassionate support to vulnerable seniors, helping them maintain meaningful connections with their families, peers, and local communities. Rooted in the values of inclusion, dignity, and empowerment, the program aims to enhance seniors’ overall quality of life through holistic services and culturally responsive initiatives.

Key goals of the program include promoting digital literacy, encouraging community engagement and capacity building, offering mental health awareness and support, and facilitating intercultural gatherings that celebrate diversity and foster social bonds. By participating in the program, seniors have the opportunity to improve their English language skills, build new friendships, and gain confidence in using modern technology such as smartphones, tablets, and computers—tools that help them stay connected and reduce the risk of social isolation.

Group discussions serve as a safe, welcoming space to explore challenges related to adjusting to a new culture, aging in a new country, and navigating life transitions. These conversations are designed to nurture a strong sense of belonging, support emotional well-being, and empower seniors to actively participate in community life.

Through this program, CMSC reaffirms its commitment to ensuring that all seniors, regardless of background are valued, included, and equipped with the tools they need to thrive.

Coordinating recreational and social activities to combat isolation.
